WHAT WE DO

We craft considered escapes for the scent-curious – part indulgence, part education, all experience. Guests are welcomed into the studios and spaces of Grasse’s leading perfumers and makers, learning the art of fragrance directly from those who live it every day.

Outside our scented syllabus, we offer mindful movement and meditation as an opportunity to ground in presence and awareness. There’s time to savour French cuisine, wander through sunlit streets, and breathe in the Riviera air. It’s travel for the senses: a balance of culture and calm, creativity and care.

WHY WE DO IT

Perfume has always held a certain mystery, an art once reserved for the initiated few. We believe it belongs to everyone with an inquisitive nose and an open mind.

In a world that prizes speed and screen time, scent invites us to slow down. It roots us in the moment, connects us to memory, and reminds us what it means to feel alive. Fragrance is both science and story, craft and emotion – a gentle rebellion.

The Scented Circle exists to celebrate this, by gathering those who find joy in scent, beauty in detail, and meaning in experience. And all in the place where modern perfumery’s story began: Grasse.

“I wanted to explore Grasse properly. To deepen my appreciation of perfumery in its homeland – alongside others who shared my enthusiasm for this art form. To take it all in: the history, the culture, the people, the fields, the food… A holiday that truly nourished my senses and self.

The trip I’d been dreaming of didn’t exist, so I created it.”
